Hi, I'm Anna/ woodlandink!

I've been an artsy person since I was a kid, always covered in paint whenever I got the chance (and still do to this day). My artistic/educational journey led me to university where I got a BA in Illustration in 2021. My degree helped me refine my style into what it is today. From doing a children's book module, I fell in love with the softness of the illustrations and developed my own unique way of drawing from that inspiration.

I was heavily inspired to pursue tattooing from showing tattoo artists, friends and family my artwork and getting the consistent feedback of 'have you thought about being a tattoo artist' after being in jobs that I have hated. I wanted to do something that I enjoy and that would make a difference to someone, tattooing is 100% that.

Outside of the studio you can find me taking pictures of my cat, painting my warhammer army, etching mirrors and trying not to kill my jungle of houseplants.

Tattoo wise, I take inspiration from classic storybook illustrations and fantasy films & books. I love to create whimsical and colourful illustrations and I'm excited to bring my designs to life as tattoos!
